South Elgin 87, Larkin 39: Becca Smith led all scorers with 24 points and Sarah Havemann added 11 points as the Storm (3-4, 1-1) cruised to an easy victory over the Royals (0-6, 0-2) on the road in Upstate Eight Conference action.
Monica Hurtado paced the Royals turning in a double-digit performance with 11 points.
Genoa-Kingston 50, Westminster Christian 40: The Warriors (2-4) tried to mount a comeback, scoring 18 fourth-quarter points, but were unsuccessful as they fell to Genoa-Kingston on the road. Sarah Rodgers paced the Warriors' offensive attack with 15 points while Hannah Graves chipped in 8 points.
Bartlett 58, Lake Park 37: The Hawks (5-4, 2-1) picked up another Upstate Eight Conference victory, handling conference rival Lake Park on the road. Jacki Gulczynski turned in an all-around performance for the Hawks with a game-high 23 points to go along with her 9 rebounds, 5 steals, and 3 blocks. Haley Videckis scored 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for a double-double while adding 3 steals.
Dundee-Crown 50, Elgin 33: The Chargers (2-5) won their second consecutive game as they defeated the Maroons (1-6) in this nonconference matchup at home. Ali Sanders paced the Chargers, turning in a double-digit performance with 17 points. Brandi Hernandez led Elgin's attack with 14 points while Braina Hamilton chipped in 10 points.
Cary-Grove 60, Johnsburg 48: The Trojans (8-0) started off slow in the first quarter, but they turned up their offensive attack to remain undefeated on the season. Meg Straumann reocrded a team-high 20 points, all coming in the final three quarters of play, while Claire Jakubicek also scored double-digits with 18 points.
