Hononegah 34, Cary-Grove 31: The Trojans were only able to manage 5 first-half points as their offense struggled to get rolling in this 34-31 loss to Hononegah at the Hoops For Healing Tournament.

Matt Jones paced the Trojan offense with 12 points while Matt Aulert and Nick Richter chipped in 7 and 6 points, respectively.

Belvidere 46, Cary-Grove 41: Cary-Grove (1-3) suffered a loss to tournament host Belvidere, while competing in the Hoops For Healing Tournament Friday. Matt Jones led all scorers with 16 points to lead the Trojans. Alex Posey finished with 6 points.

Waukegan 78, Bartlett 36: The Hawks (1-1) fell to Waukegan during tournament action at Warren Friday. Bartlett was led by Donovan Coleman and Luke Labedzki, who scored 7 points apiece.

Quincy 68, Jacobs 46: The Golden Eagles (0-2) started out slow, scoring only 15 points in the first half, taking a loss to tournament host Quincy on Friday. Nick Hofman led Jacobs with 14 points, while Matt Schmidt contributed 8 points.

CL South 46, King 38: Crystal Lake South (2-0) defeated Chicago King Friday during competition at the Batavia Classic. Alex Macaulay led all scorers with 16 points, while Kevin Rogers added 13 points for the Gators. Ryan Price finished with 8 points.
