CL South d. Johnsburg: Caitlin Schumacher had 17 kills and 8 digs as Crystal Lake South (3-0) outlasted Johnsburg 25-19, 23-25, 25-15 in nonconference action. Chelsea Sirovatka added 27 assists for the Gators while Brittany Atkinson had 7 kills and 7 blocks.

Cary-Grove d. CL Central: Kelly Lamberti had 13 kills and 4 aces and Abbey Heredia dished out 29 assists as Cary-Grove (2-0) got past Crystal Lake Central 18-25, 25-11, 25-19 in nonconference play. Korey Kronforst added 8 digs and Colleen Hargrove served 4 aces for the Trojans.

Bartlett d. Addison Trail: The Hawks picked up a 25-22, 25-10 nonconference win over visiting Addison Trail. Carly Sahagian led the Hawks with 14 kills while Alyssa Cazzato added 20 assists. Kelly Kraft paced Bartlett's defense with 7 digs.

Huntley d. Grayslake North: The Red Raiders (3-1) cruised to a 25-10, 25-13 home win over visiting Grayslake North. Amanda Carroll turned in a stellar serving performance recording 6 aces to go along with her team-high 14 assists. Ashley Smith led Huntley with 11 kills while Amy Dion picked up 11 digs.

Grayslake Central d. D-C: Despite battling to a first game victory over visiting Grayslake Central, the Chargers (1-3) fell short losing in 3 games 28-30, 25-15, 25-20. Katie Cutinello turned in a team high 20 assists while Alyssa Sarrazine paced the Chargers with 9 kills.
