Neuqua Valley 2, Naperville North 1: Colleen Hohman (16-5) recorded her 10th strikeout to end the game with the tying run at third, completing a no-hitter at the Class 4A Naperville North regional.

No. 6 seed Neuqua Valley (22-7), which will play Benet in Saturday's regional final, scored both its runs in the fourth. Jenna Marsalli walked, stole second and went to third when the throw caromed off her ankle and scored on a hit by Hohman. Courtesy runner Corinne Sheley came around to score on a groundout. Sammy Marshall scored on a wild pitch for Naperville North (14-19) in the sixth.

Glenbard West 9, Wheaton North 3: Ashley Steinhilber went 2-for-4 and drove in 3 runs for the No. 9 seed Hilltoppers at the Class 4A Addison Trail regional. Briana Wyatt went 3-for-5 and Dayle Comerford 2-for-4 with a double for Glenbard West (21-14), who will play No. 1 seed Elk Grove in Saturday's regional final. Kelsey Ullrich went 3-for-4 with a double for No. 8 seed Wheaton North.

Wheaton Academy 16, ACE Tech Charter 0: Bitsy Weaver, Julia Kolanowski, Paige Huizenga and Bekah Heubner each had 3 hits for No. 6 seed Wheaton Academy (12-16), which advanced to a regional final for the first time since 2004. Huizenga (7-7) struck out nine in three innings of no-hit ball for the Warriors, who will play Montini on Saturday in the Class 3A Montini regional championship.
