Grant's Thorsen fans 20 in 13-inning loss
Wauconda 4, Grant 3 (13 inn.): Bryce Lahrman's RBI single in the bottom of the 13th inning lifted Wauconda in the North Suburban Prairie Division game, which was suspended after 10 innings on April 29.
Grant's Ryan Thorsen was tagged with his first division loss, despite striking out 20 batters in 12 2/3 innings. He allowed just 6 hits and 2 walks, and was charged with 2 earned runs.
Grant fell to 14-9-1 overall and 7-3 in the division.
Stevenson 5, CL Central 1: Kyle Ruchim pitched a complete-game 4-hitter with 9 strikeouts and 1 walk. The junior, who improved to 4-1, did not allow an earned run.
Stevenson (24-5) got 2-run doubles from Patrick Wilson and Alex Goldman.
