Tuesday's Fox Valley roundup

Aimee Wronski and Kelly Creager each scored 2 goals each as Huntley (21-1-1, 10-0-0) notched a 7-0 victory over Johnsburg in Fox Valley Conference Fox Division action Tuesday afternoon. Cori Wronski, Kristina Barreto and Taylor Skubal also chipped in a goal a piece en route to victory. Katelyn Owens and Sara Hoffman combined for just 1 save in the match.

Waubonsie Valley 9, Streamwood 0: Streamwood (3-14-3, 2-6-2) suffered a tough Upstate Eight Conference loss to Waubonsie Valley. Pearl Patel made 12 saves in goal for the Sabres.

Cary-Grove 2, McHenry 1: Cary-Grove (17-2, 10-0) edged out McHenry en route to an FVC Valley victory. Kelli Anderson led the Trojan attack with a goal and an assist. Allie Simon added the other goal for Cary-Grove.

South Elgin 1, Larkin 0: South Elgin pulled out the victory in this Upstate Eight Conference battle against Larkin. Angelina Simone scored South Elgin's lone goal on an assist from Jessica DeSimon. Anna Goodlove registered 27 saves in goal for the Royals in the loss.

Hampshire 7, Burlington Central 0: Big Northern East champion Hampshire (11-3-3, 9-0) held on to its perfect conference record defeating Burlington Central on Senior Day. Christine Schumacher paced the Whip Purs' offensive attack recording a hat trick. Gianina Estocado, Alex Field, Kristy Pfaffinger, and Allie Lattanzio also added one goal each. Alex Heinrich registered the shutout in goal for the Whip Purs.
