Brittany Kroening scored the game's only goal off an assist from Kelli Anderson Monday to life Cary-Grove to a 1-0 girls soccer win over Dundee-Crown and the outright Fox Valley Conference Valley Division championship.

Alex Holland was in goal for the Trojans (16-2, 9-0) but didn't need to make any saves. Deanna Libricz made 7 saves in the net for the Chargers.

Huntley 5, Harlem 2: Aimee Wronski scored twice as Huntley (20-1-1) won in nonconference play. Bre Burry, Rachel Chapuis and Kristin Barreto also scored for the Red Raiders, who got 1 save in goal from Kaytlyn Owens.

Elgin Academy 5, Indian Creek 3: Lauren Steimle scored yet another hat trick to lead Elgin Academy (13-5-2) to a nonconference win. Emma Stone and Alyssa Pena also scored goals for the Hilltoppers, who got 12 saves in goal from Bianca Swegler.

Richmond 2, Burlington Central 1: Heather Krup scored the only goal for BC (5-11-1, 2-4-1) in this Big Northern East loss. Kirby McMahon had 5 saves in goal and Caitlin Solberg stopped 12 shots.

Hampshire 2, IMSA 1: Christine Schumacher scored both goals for the Whip-Purs (10-3-3) in this nonconference win. Alex Heinrich had 6 saves in goal for Hampshire.

Prairie Ridge 2, Grayslake North 0: Nikki Mohr and Lara Troszak scored goals for the Wolves (13-4-1, 6-3) in the FVC Fox.
