Eastman strikes out 11 in Benet win over Glenbard East

Benet 2, Glenbard East 0: Meghan Eastman (2-0) struck out 11 in a 1-hit shutout, her second in as many games this spring. Nora McGuire homered in the seventh and Claire Geyer had a run-scoring single in the second for Benet.

Wheaton North 7, St. Francis 1: Rachel Holaway went 3-for-4 with a double, triple and 2 runs batted in and Paige Wilson 2-for-3 with 2 runs scored for the Falcons (3-0). Kelsey Ullrich addd a solo homer in the seventh.

Oak Park-River Forest 5-7, WW South 1-1: Timmie Rappe went 2-for-3 in both games of a doubleheader for the Tigers (3-2).

Resurrection 2, Lisle 0: Colleen Drennan went 3-for-3 in a nonconference loss for the Lions (2-2).
