•Burglars broke a window and opened dresser drawers at a home on the 0-100 block of Crabapple Island between Feb. 8 and March 4, but nothing appeared to be missing. It was the third burglary at this home.
Grayslake
•Michael K. Henrichsen, 20, of the 21200 block of West Washington Street, Grayslake, was arrested March 3 at Washington and Route 83 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, controlled substance, and hypodermic needle.
Gurnee
•Burglars stole tools out of a 1997 Chevrolet van in a driveway on the 4100 block of Oglesby Avenue overnight March 8-9.
Ingleside
•Burglars stole two drills and a saw out of an unlocked 2000 Ford van at a home on the 25200 block of Anderson Avenue between Feb. 19 and March 5. Total value was estimated at $330.
Lake Zurich
•Thieves stole a wallet from a male customer at a checkout counter in Jewel, 485 Ela Road, around 5:40 p.m. March 7.
Libertyville
•Joseph M. Estrada, 25, of the 100 block of McKinley Avenue, Libertyville, was arrested March 6 at the downtown Metra depot and charged by Metra police with aggravated assault after he confronted a conductor and was seen carrying a gun.
Mundelein
•Vandals punctured tires on a 1990 Ford pickup truck in a driveway on the 26700 block of routes 60/83 March 9. Damage was estimated at more than $300.
Round Lake Beach
•Thieves stole a sprocket and chain valued at $1,000 from a trash compactor at Aldi's, 74 W. Rollins Road, between Feb. 27 and March 2.
•Michael J. Verjinski, 17, of the 500 block of Ravine Drive, Round Lake Park, was arrested around 11:30 p.m. March 6 on the 1500 block of Walnut Drive and charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor.
Vernon Hills
•Carlos M. Zapata-Gutierrez, 39, of the 1000 block of Pine Street, Waukegan, was arrested March 6 at Abercrombie and Fitch in Westfield Hawthorn mall and charged with retail theft, possession of burglary tools, and criminal damage to property after he took clothes valued at $100 and damaged them while removing security sensors.
•Eric M. Favors, 22, of the 1400 block of Nottingham Lane, Mundelein, was arrested March 7 at Aspen Drive and Townline Road and charged with traffic violations, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and driving under the influence. His court date is April 8.
Wauconda
•Vandals spray-painted graffiti on stop signs in the Larkdale and Kimball neighborhoods March 5.
•Keith M. Villarreal, 17, of the 28200 block of Oak Street, Wauconda, was arrested around 3:45 p.m. March 6 at Wauconda High School, 555 N. Main St., and charged with disorderly conduct. His court date is March 25.
