Today

Big Northern-East

North Boone (8-13, 4-5) at Hampshire (16-7, 8-0), 7 p.m.: The Whip-Purs can clinch a share of the BN-E title with a win.

Burlington Central (11-11, 5-3) at Harvard (4-20, 1-8), 7 p.m.: The Rockets still have an outside shot to finish in a tie for second in the division.

Fox Valley (Valley)

McHenry (11-11, 3-4) at Dundee-Crown (16-5, 7-0), 7 p.m.: The Valley-leading Chargers beat the Warriors 72-56 in McHenry on Jan. 31.

Woodstock (5-19, 1-6) at Jacobs (21-2, 6-1), 7 p.m.: Jacobs picked up a win this week when Limestone had to forfeit a season-opening victory on Nov. 27 for using two ineligible players. The Golden Eagles beat the Blue Streaks by 9 in Woodstock on Jan. 31.

Fox Valley (Fox)

Huntley (14-9, 4-3) at Crystal Lake Central (4-19, 1-6), 7 p.m.: The Red Raiders have won seven of last 10, including a 55-38 win over CL Central three weeks ago.

Upstate Eight

South Elgin (16-6, 5-2) at St. Charles North (18-6, 7-1), 7:30 p.m.: St. Charles North is tied with Neuqua Valley for the UEC lead after winning 11 of last 12 games. South Elgin has won 6 straight and trails the leaders by 1 game in the loss column.

St. Charles East (8-15, 3-5) at Bartlett (17-7, 5-3), 7:30 p.m.: The streaking Hawks have won 7 straight. The Saints have gone 8-4 since their 0-11 start.

East Aurora (16-7, 5-2) at Streamwood (11-11, 3-5), 7:30 p.m.: Suddenly hot Sabres have won 5 of last 6 games. Tomcats went from first to third in UEC last weekend with losses to Bartlett, Waubonsie Valley.

Elgin (10-14, 2-6) at Waubonsie Valley (12-11, 4-3), 7:30 p.m.: Elgin snapped 4-game losing streak with 20-point nonconference win over Northside Prep on Tuesday. The Warriors are coming off a weekend road sweep of FVC Valley-leading Dundee-Crown and then-Upstate Eight-leading East Aurora.

Larkin (6-16, 1-7) at Lake Park (3-21, 0-8), 7:30 p.m.: The Royals look to put some distance between themselves and the last-place Lancers.

Suburban Catholic

Marmion (11-13, 9-4) at St. Edward (8-16, 2-9), 7:30 p.m.: The Cadets handed SCC champion Aurora Central its only league loss last weekend. St. Edward guard Josh Dix could return. He has been sidelined since Feb. 6 with a deep leg contusion.

Private School League

Westminster Christian (15-18, 2-5) at Aurora Christian (10-12, 3-3), 7 p.m.: The final Private School League boys basketball game for these rivals. Both join new conferences next year.

Independent School League

Elgin Academy (5-16, 2-9) at Lake Forest Academy (12-8, 5-3), 6 p.m.: The Hilltoppers seek their third victory in the ISL behind sophomore Jivon McDonald, who scored 19 in his last outing.

Saturday

Nonconference

South Elgin at Aurora Central (20-3, 11-1), 7 p.m.: The Storm will face the 2-3 zone of the two-time Suburban Catholic champions.

Streamwood at York (12-12), 7:30 p.m.: Streamwood has held its last 6 opponents to an average of 51.7 ppg. The Dukes best Hinsdale South 55-53 on Tuesday.

Larkin at Geneva (18-6), 6 p.m.: The Royals are 5-8 in nonconference games this season.

St. Edward at IMSA (2-23), 7:30 p.m.: The Green Wave get a final nonconference tuneup before Monday's Class 2A regional opener against Amboy at Genoa-Kingston.
