•Thieves stole a diamond and ruby ring and a diamond necklace around 11:30 p.m. Oct. 31 out of a purse left outside a sports bar at 26029 W. Route 173. Value was estimated at $5,200.

•Vincent A. Ambolo, 41, 9 W. Grand Ave., Fox Lake, was arrested around 11 p.m. Oct. 31 at his home and charged with disorderly conduct after he pounded on doors and frightened his family. A court date was not available.

•Paul B. Smith, 39, 375 Alta Drive, Grayslake, was arrested Oct. 29 on the 300 block of Neville Drive and charged with disorderly conduct. His court date is Dec. 31.

•Vandals sprayed a mailbox with paint and tossed around toilet paper at a home on the 0-100 block of Seneca West Avenue overnight Oct. 25-26. A damage estimate was not available.

•Burglars stole a wallet and two motion detectors out of a 2002 Toyota pickup truck and a silver and blue mountain bike from the driveway on an unknown date, but reported Nov. 1, at a home on the 37100 block of Loretto Avenue. Value was estimated at $450.

•Thieves stole a 5-week-old black and white pit bull puppy around 9:30 p.m. Oct. 30 out of a home on the 24400 block of Norelius Avenue. Value was estimated at $225.

•David A. Orozco, 22, 9173 Bristol, Round Lake Beach, was arrested around 7:45 p.m. Nov. 2 after a traffic stop at Cedar Lake Road and South Rosedale Court and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. A court date was not available.

•Vandals hurled rocks through car windows on the 800 block of Corona Court overnight Nov. 1-2. A damage estimate was not available.
