• Illinois historian, author and retired university professor John E. Hallwas will present the May Tea Time Tour lecture, "Small-Town Heritage: Life in Illinois Communities, 1870-1920" at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Elmhurst Historical Museum, 120 E. Center St. The film is based on the novel of the same name by W. Somerset Maugham. It is a love story about a young English couple who marry in the 1920s and relocate to Hong Kong. Admission is free.
