• Hard-Hat Tours of the new Addison Public Library, 4 Friendship Plaza, will be offered from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday. The building is not yet complete, but patrons can see what's in the works. • The Lombard Historical Society will offer trolley ride tours Saturday and Sunday, leaving from the Victorian Cottage, 23 W. Maple St. On Saturday, tours will visit sites related to the Lilac Community Read book, "Green Valley." Trolleys will leave from 11:30 to 1 p.m. and last about 25 minutes. The cost is $5. On Sunday, the annual Mother's Day tour of historic homes will be offered at 3 p.m. and will last one hour. The cost is $10. Reservations are required for both tours.
