• Water Park Mayhem, a School Day Out activity with the Roselle Park District for children ages six to 14, will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at Water Works indoor water park in Schaumburg. Cost is $22, and includes transportation via the Park District bus leaving from Clauss Recreation Center, 555 W. Bryn Mawr, Roselle. Little Rookies is available for ages 2-5 from 2:45 to 3:30 p.m. Mondays, today to March 24. Tuesday

• Drop-off times for kindergarten registration packets for Bloomingdale School District 13 will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday in Bloomingdale. Registration for the east side of the district will be at DuJardin School, 166 S. Euclid, Bloomingdale; and for the west side of the district will be at Erickson School, 277 Springfield Drive, Bloomingdale. Registration packets are currently available at both schools. Children must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2008 to register. Drop-off time for completed packets will be until 6 p.m. on Wednesday. • Canadian recording artists Leahy invites young dancers to enter a contest to join them on stage to dance during the performance of their song "The Call to Dance" as part of their concert at College of DuPage Feb. 29. Deadline to enter is Thursday. Dancers should submit a short paragraph of no more than 100 words explaining why they should be the one "called to dance." Any young people who have any level of experience in traditional dance styles such as clog, Irish, Highland, step-dancing or tap are invited to enter.
