Suspect deemed unfit
A Kane County judge has ruled a man accused of snatching a 4-year-old boy from a group of other children during a trip to Spring Hill Mall in West Dundee is mentally unfit for trial.
The judge ruled Friday that 19-year-old Arthur Robinzine of Chicago should be sent to the Illinois Department of Human Services.
Robinzine is charged with attempted aggravated kidnapping, attempted kidnapping, unlawful restraint, aggravated battery and resisting arrest. He is accused of grabbing the boy from a Head Start program in Elgin.
The children had gone to the mall to play on indoor playground equipment.
