Meet the Republican primary candidates Feb. 15
The Western Kane County Republican Organization invites the community to meet candidates running in the March primary on Thursday, Feb. 15, beginning at 6:15 p.m. at the Blackberry Township office, 43W390 Main Street Road in Elburn.
Candidates for state, county, local, and judicial offices have been invited to speak and answer questions from voters.
Pizza from Paisano's Pizza and Grill in Elburn will be served. Donations are welcome from those who dine to cover costs.
The monthly business meeting will follow.
The Western Kane County Republican Organization is the largest township organization in Kane County. The group represents communities from Huntley (north) to Montgomery (south) including Hampshire, Plato Center, Virgil, Big Rock, Sugar Grove, Elburn, Kaneville, Gilberts, Burlington, and Maple Park, and portions of Batavia, Geneva, Montgomery, North Aurora, Aurora, St. Charles, Huntley, and Elgin.
The Blackberry Township offices are located on Main Street just east of Route 47, four miles west of the Mill Creek subdivision, and six miles west of Randall Road.
The primary election is set for March 20, and early voting began Feb. 8. For voting information, visit www.kanecountyelections.org.
