EW CYCLEBAR TO OPEN IN YORKTOWN IN AUGUST & WILL BENEFIT LOCAL NON-PROFITS, AS WELL AS OFFER FREE RIDES
CycleBar®, a Premium Indoor Cycling Studio franchise, is opening in August in Yorktown, next to H&M. Within its first year, CycleBar's goal is to pump $50,000 back into the local community through their unique program called "CycleGiving®". Via the program, CycleBar® will donate an hour ride (they will have 48 bikes available each ride) and eligible nonprofits can sell the seats for whatever price they would like. The 501c(3) will receive the ticket proceeds from the ride and CycleBar® will also donate the use of their studio for one hour afterwards for a gathering and/or additional fundraising, if desired.
Local businesses and organizations can also reserve a free ride as an employee gathering, as part as an employee fitness program or team-building activity. A limited number of these free rides are available as part of the grand opening celebration and will not extend past the first two weeks of opening.
