St. Catherine of Siena students dress up as saints

Students from St. Catherine of Siena School in West Dundee were encouraged and allowed to dress up for Halloween by art coordinator and technology instructor Christy Oskorep, if they were dressed as saints in recognition of All Saints Day, celebrated on Nov. 1.

The school serves families in the Fox Valley area, including East and West Dundee, Sleepy Hollow, Gilberts and Carpentersville.

Its mission is to offer children a Christ-centered, challenging academic and religious program.

It is part of the St. Catherine of Siena Parish and the Diocese of Rockford. The school offers prekindergarten for 3- and 4-year-olds, full-day kindergarten, and first through eighth grade.

Spartan Care after-school care is available from 3:05 to 6 p.m.
