One morning while taking the kids to school I noticed the morning dew on the grass. I grabbed a macro lens and layed down in the wet grass to capture a dew drop. I like the spectral highlights on the drop and in the background. This photo was originally published in the Perspective column in the print edition of the Daily Herald.   I made this photo before the Waubonsie Valley at Bartlett football game on Friday, Sept. 19 in Streamwood. The sunset was amazing that evening and I just wanted to get something in front of my 14mm lens. Sometimes a lens that wide picks up stray light coming into the frame. In this instance the stadium lights and the resulting lens flare towards the middle of the frame makes it look as if Bartlett's Justin Sowinski is actually preparing to catch the light. Well at least it looks that way to me. What do you think? This photo was originally published in the Perspective column in the print edition of the Daily Herald. Brian Hill/bhill@dailyherald.com
