Classical Blast to Perform in Palatine

Palatine Park District presents eleven concerts during their Sounds of Summer performances at the Fred P. Hall Amphitheater, 262 E. Palatine Road.

On Wednesday, July 23, Classical Blast will be performing from 8:00pm to 9:30pm. Classical Blast is a unique 4-pc band dedicated to bringing the classical arts to mainstream rock & pop music. They are classically trained musicians who love to rock. They believe in the power of the arts - to inspire, to educate, to uplift, to effect change, even to heal. They often use their time to teach or to perform at hospitals to help positively change the energy for those dealing with illness. They also believe music has no boundaries. They apply these concepts to their live shows by performing whatever they enjoy playing. Who says you have to stick with one genre? Their influences have no boundaries. Classical Blast's style, technique and tools breathe new life into rock music as well as the classics. From Bach to classic rock to metal to pop, you'll find their approach to music a refreshing change. It's the past, present & future all brought together in perfect harmony!

Sounds of Summer concerts are free. Blankets, chairs, and picnic baskets are encouraged. In the event of inclement weather, the performance will be canceled. Call the recorded message at 847-705-5123, x431 for weather related cancellations.
