The Lakeside Legacy Foundation Presents Gary Vincent, Singer/Songwriter, and Friends with Morgan Freeman
On Friday, January 31st at 8:00pm, Gary Vincent will be performing in ‘the Listening Room' at the Lakeside Legacy Arts Park in Crystal Lake, IL. Gary Vincent is an original artist who writes and performs his own songs. Vincent has partnered with friend and movie star, Morgan Freeman on the television music series called “Down to the Crossroads”. Freeman's voice will be incorporated into Vincent's performance in ‘the Listening Room' at the end of January. You do not want to miss this unique performance. Gary Vincent is a lifelong professional in the music business. He is an entertainer, record producer, film producer, musician, engineer, and songwriter. His songs are filled with keen insights, passion, and wit. They have been recorded by Mickey Gilley, John Anderson, The Crickets, Gary Morris, Tompall Glaser, Chris LeDoux, Leon Redbone, and many others. As an entertainer, Gary has a unique way of connecting with his audiences. The Pittsburgh Post Gazette once wrote “Gary Vincent throws a party every time he goes on stage.”
As a film producer he created a series called “Down to the Crossroads” a joint venture with Bill Luckett and Hollywood actor, Morgan Freeman. Volume One of the series was nominated for a Blues Music Award. This television music show is hosted by Morgan Freeman and filmed in Freeman's Ground Zero Blues Club.
Gary and his wife, Carol, are the owners of “The Clarksdale Soundstage”, a unique recording studio and soundstage located in Clarksdale, Mississippi. Morgan Freeman is a regular there. After taking a break from performing to pursue other interests, recently Gary realized that he missed sharing his music with live audiences. Armed with a number of great new songs, Gary has been rehearsing for a 2014 tour.
