Lakeside Legacy Arts presents Matt Drufke and Friends Jan. 17
On Friday, Jan. 17, Matt Drufke and Friends will be performing a night of stand-up comedy at 8 p.m. in 'the Listening Room' at the Lakeside Legacy Arts Park in Crystal Lake.

“Lakeside launched a comedy night with Julie Ostrow in the fall of 2013, and people were rolling in the aisle,” remarked Siobhan Cottone, Lakeside's Executive Director. She also added, “We are excited to continue to offer the community Comedy, and the 2014 schedule for ‘the Listening Room' will bring excellent performers like Matt Drufke and Friends to Crystal Lake.”
This night of comedy is called “Listen Up” and will feature three comics: Matt Drufke, Adam Burke (who released his debut album, "Universal Squirrel Theory," last year on A Special Thing Records), and Sean Flannery (star of the show "Never Been to Paris" and curator of the show/podcast "The Blackout Diaries"). This performance is a guaranteed, hilarious night of comedy and not something you want to miss.
Roger Reupert, the house manager of ‘the Listening Room', talks very highly of Matt Drufke and this comedy show. Reupert added, “Matt Drufke and his comedian friends are nothing short of entertaining. If online sales have not sold out, tickets can also be purchased at the door for $20. Lakeside encourages people to purchase tickets in advance. If you purchase tickets at the door on Jan. 17, however, please arrive by 7:30 p.m.
