Blue Skies Quartet to perform Dec. 15 in Crystal Lake
On December 15th at 4:00pm, the Blue Skies Quartet will be performing in ‘the Listening Room' at the Lakeside Legacy Arts Park in Crystal Lake.

Although the Blue Skies Quartet is a big favorite of jazz music fans, their repertoire is not limited to jazz music. This very versatile group plays for all functions and features great vocals by Keyboardist, Reid Spears and Reed/Flute man, Phil Ciancio, Roger Reupert's trumpet gives the band it's full instrumental sound while band leader Sam Geati drives the band on the drum set. The group plays a full range of tunes from the tender blending of "Over the Rainbow" to the raucous sounds of "Jump, Jive, and Wail". This band loves to spark the crowd with their freewheeling solos and ensemble work. Noted for their skilled improvisation and spontaneity, the group has a great following in the northwest suburban area.

If online sales have not sold out, tickets can also be purchased at the door. Lakeside encourages people to purchase tickets in advance.
