Lakeside Legacy Foundation Gives Back to the Community During Holiday Season
The Lakeside Legacy Foundation Team wants to give back to the community during this holiday season and invites you to help in this mission. After much thought, consideration, and collaboration, the Lakeside Legacy Arts Park would like to donate to Home of the Sparrow and The Salvation Army during this time of giving. The community can drop off donations Monday-Friday 9am-5pm through December 11th in the lobby of Lakeside. Donations can also be dropped off during Christmas at the Dole on December 6th from 5pm-8pm or during Winter Fest on December 7th from 11am-4pm. Lakeside is located at at 401 Country Club Road, Crystal Lake, IL 60014.
Siobhan Cottone, Lakeside's Executive Director, remarked, “As a growing, non-profit organization within the City of Crystal Lake, we understand how much the community contributes to our success and we highly value all support we get from individuals, businesses and organizations in the community. During this magical season of giving and love, our Lakeside Team has decided to give back to the community that gives us so much. Though there are many deserving charities, we will be donating to Home of the Sparrow and The Salvation Army this year and could not be more enthusiastic about this opportunity to give back.”
Both Home of the Sparrow and The Salvation Army are highly impactful charities that help countless people every year. Being so involved in helping others within the community, both charities are very much in need of specific items to help them not only through the cold winter months, but also throughout the year. Whether it is toys and clothes or cleaning products and groceries, these organizations are in need of a wide variety of products to help them function in the most efficient and productive way possible.
