Bartlett wrestling champion honored by village
State wrestling champion Sal Annoreno, a junior at Bartlett High School, was honored at a recent Bartlett board meeting, and now has a road sign that trumpets his accomplishment.
Annoreno won the 132-pound weight class championship at the Illinois State Wrestling Tournament on Feb. 18, making him the fourth state medalist in the history of Bartlett High.
He is that school’s first state wrestling champion.
