Ever wonder where artists get their ideas? A group of local artists will come together at 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 3 at the Barrington Area Library, 505 N. Northwest Hwy., Barrington, to discuss idea generation and provide tips on jump-starting your own creativity.

The panel includes: photographer Thomas Balsamo; cartoonist Charles Boyce; choreographer and instructor Dee Dee Gallagher-Johnson; ceramic and mixed media artist Kathleen Kubic; oil painter Bill Stone; and writer Tamara Tabel. Following the panel discussion, each artist will share a piece of artwork and the inspiration behind it. The artists will be available at the end of the presentation for questions and for attendees to review their artwork up close.
