Luczak's attacking helps propel Glenbard West

Laura Luczak put down 8 kills to pace the Hilltoppers to a 25-20, 25-12 win in Glen Ellyn. Emily Jenkins added 4 kills and 2 blocks and Renee Wharton 4 kills and 6 blocks for Glenbard West (18-4). Tori Clifford chipped in 11 digs and 2 aces and Caleigh Ryan 24 assists.

St. Francis d. Montini: Meg Vonderhaar had 6 kills, 7 digs and 3 aces for the No. 6 Spartans in a 25-11, 25-5 win in Wheaton. Kelly Reinke added 14 assists and Daiva Wise 13 service points and 2 aces for St. Francis (19-3, 5-0 Suburban Christian Blue). For Montini (7-11, 3-4) Kristin Burger had 4 kills and 4 digs and Joyce Balash 2 blocks.

Downers Grove North d. Metea Valley: Katherine Mahlke put down 4 kills and Grace Borgard 3, and the visiting Trojans welcomed Jessie Tulacka back to the lineup after missing 10 matches with a concussion by beating Metea Valley 25-20, 25-21. Carolyn Nojiri chipped in 12 digs and 2 aces for Downers Grove North (8-10).

Elk Grove d. Addison Trail: Kayla Foster had 10 kills, 10 digs and 2 blocks for the Blazers, but Elk Grove rallied for a 19-25, 25-13, 25-19 win in Addison. Christina Capuani added 9 assists and Katie Keller 6 kills and 5 blocks for Addison Trail.
