Schaumburg forum on Oct. 2

Friendship Village of Schaumburg and the League of Women Voters of the Palatine Area will co-host a candidates forum from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 2.

Some candidates from four races will appear in Assembly Hall in Bridgewater Place on the campus of Friendship Village at 350 W. Schaumburg Road in Schaumburg. Those confirmed are 8th Congressional District candidates Bill Scheurer (Green) and Joe Walsh (R); 28th state Senate District candidates John Millner (R) and Corinne Michelle Pierog (D); 56th state House District candidates Ryan Higgins (R) and Michelle Mussman (D); and 54th state House District candidates Matt Flamm (D) and Tom Morrison (R). The forum is free and open to the public.
