Webinar offers tips on organizing a mental health ministry team

"Cultivating Hope Through Mental Health Ministry" is an hour-long webinar revealing how a compassionate group of parishioners turned that sentiment into action and organized a vibrant mental health ministry team at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 1500 Brookdale Road, Naperville.

The webinar, including valuable insights for organizing such a group, will be available at 1 p.m. CDST, Tuesday, Oct. 31, at registration link: bit.ly/45oBjSt.

Produced in cooperation the Association of Catholic Mental Health Ministers, the webinar highlights how the ministry at St. Thomas Church was launched, some of its success stories and the impact of the group's efforts.

Also included are steps to starting a mental health ministry, and practical strategies and resources. The webinar concludes with a question-and-answer session.
