VetBros Charity Dog Show returns for sixth year Aug. 6

The sixth annual VetBros Charity Dog Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, at the Town Center in Carol Stream.

All show proceeds will go to the VetBros Pet Education Charitable Fund.

The VetBros Pet Education Charitable Fund helps veterinarians by offering low or no-cost veterinary services to pet owners struggling with personal hardships. The fund also helps support animals who are injured or rescued from neglect or abuse. This charitable fund was created to provide charitable assistance to pets in loving families who are in need of financial help to cover the costs of their care. This organization also helps homeless pet owners in Chicago get free veterinary care for their pets.

The number of pet owners unable to afford veterinary care for their animal companions grows every day. Many pet owners make the difficult choice to forgo veterinary care for their four-legged friends because they cannot afford the cost of care. Sensitive to the needs of pets and their owners, concerned and compassionate veterinary professionals are constantly searching for new ways to provide charitable veterinary services. The VetBros Pet Education Charitable Fund helps pet owners get the veterinary services they need to keep their furry friends healthy and happy. Helping members of the community care for their pets improves the overall quality of life in the community.

The VetBros nonprofit organization invites all members of the community to support the Charity Dog Show by participating in an event, making a charitable donation, or simply attending. Prizes will be awarded for a variety of categories, including the prettiest pooch, best rescue, best trick, best costume, and more. We have over 57 sponsors and vendors attending the event. Raffles, agility courses, water play and more will also happen at this event.

Pumpkin Pet Insurance, Central Bark Doggie Day Care and Carol Stream Animal Hospital are the top sponsors for this event and have a commitment to improving the well-being of animals and people in the Carol Stream community and the greater Chicago area. Each year, these companies make a commitment to donate both money and time to animal health related charities in the community. Participating in the Charity Dog Show allows Pumpkin, Carol Stream Animal Hospital & Central Bark to provide charitable care to those in need in their local community.

"We hope everyone will come out to Town Center of Carol Stream for the 6th Annual Carol Stream Animal Hospital Charity Dog Show," says Dr. Mondrian Contreras, veterinarian at Carol Stream Animal Hospital. "We think it will be our best charitable event yet."
