Donate blood May 17 at Gary Church in Wheaton

Every day, Versiti Blood Center of Illinois needs more than 540 blood products to meet hospital demand.

Gary United Methodist Church in Wheaton is holding a blood drive through Versiti to help meet the need in the community. It will be 2 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, at the church, 224 N. Main St.

Register to give blood at Walk-ins are also welcome.

Save the dates for these blood drives at Gary Church: Aug. 23 and Nov. 29, from 2 to 6 p.m.

Gary United Methodist Church will offer 9 a.m. summer Sunday worship in the sanctuary. The 9 a.m. service is complete with Kids' Church and nursery care, plus livestreaming and recorded worship at At 10 a.m., you can enjoy a coffee hour called "Special Blend."
