Donate blood at Wheaton's Gary UMC Feb. 15

Every day, Versiti Blood Center of Illinois needs more than 540 blood products to meet hospital demand.

Gary United Methodist Church, 224 N. Main St. in Wheaton, is holding a blood drive through Versiti to help meet the need in the community. Register to give blood via garychurch.org. Walk-ins are also welcome. It will be 2 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, in the church commons area.

Save the dates for these blood drives from 2 to 6 p.m. at Gary United Methodist Church: May 17, Aug. 23 and Nov. 29.

The church offers 9 and 11 a.m. Sunday worship in the sanctuary. The 9 a.m. service is complete with Kids' Church and nursery care, plus livestreaming and recorded worship at garychurch.org. The 11 a.m. Service of Word & Sacrament is an intimate and informal service. At 10 a.m., you can enjoy a coffee hour called "Special Blend" and Sunday school for all ages.
