Wheaton's Gary UMC to host Trunk-or-Treat Oct. 29

Gary United Methodist Church in Wheaton will host its annual Trunk-or-Treat event on Saturday, Oct. 29. Treats will be served from the trunks of churchgoers' decorated vehicles from 10 a.m. to noon in the church parking lot, 224 N. Main St. Come dressed in costume.

In conjunction with the Downtown Wheaton Association's trick-or-treating event, the church also will collect new and gently used winter clothing to donate to the People's Resource Center in Wheaton.

Gary United Methodist Church offers 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday worship services in the sanctuary. The 9 a.m. service is complete with Kids' Church and nursery care, plus livestreaming and recorded worship at garychurch.org. The 11 a.m. Service of Word & Sacrament is an intimate and informal service. At 10 a.m., you can enjoy a coffee hour called "Special Blend" and Sunday school for all ages.
