DuPage Care Van to offer vaccines, boosters at Wheaton church Oct. 19

Adults and children, ages 6 months or older, can receive their initial doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and all those eligible can receive the new Pfizer Bivalent booster shot on Wednesday, Oct. 19.

The DuPage Department of Public Health will administer the free vaccines from 4 to 6 p.m. in the mobile clinic outside Gary United Methodist Church, 224 N. Main St. in Wheaton. Register at garychurch.org/registrations or simply show up.

Gary United Methodist Church offers 9 and 11 a.m. Sunday services in the sanctuary. The 9 a.m. service is complete with Kids' Church and nursery care, plus livestreaming and recorded worship at garychurch.org. The 11 a.m. Service of Word & Sacrament is an intimate and informal service.

At 10 a.m., you can enjoy a coffee hour called "Special Blend" and Sunday school for all ages.
