Gary United Methodist Church in Wheaton donates thousands to charity

Gary United Methodist Church in Wheaton collected and dispersed more than $70,000 to global, national and local missions in 2021.

The People's Resource Center, Feed My Starving Children, Habitat for Humanity, Heifer Project International, ESSE, Christmas Sharing, Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans, CROP Walk, Outreach Ministries, Bridge Communities and DuPage PADS are some of the many missions that received support last year.

 

The Wheaton church also funded educational scholarships for students in Africa and Cambodia. View the list of missions and their descriptions at garychurch.org/ministries/mission-and-outreach/.

Gary United Methodist Church, 224 N. Main St., offers a 9 a.m. Sunday worship in the sanctuary, complete with Kids' Church, plus livestreaming and recorded worship at garychurch.org.

After the worship service, you can enjoy Sunday school for all ages, plus a coffee hour called "Special Blend."
