Wheaton's Gary United Methodist Church hosts Lenten study of spiritual practices

The Rev. Chris Pierson will lead a Lenten study about spiritual practices on Wednesdays at Gary United Methodist Church in Wheaton. It will meet at 7 p.m. starting March 9.

The study will center on Catherine J. Wright's book, "Spiritual Practices of Jesus: Learning Simplicity, Humility, and Prayer."

The study will focus on Jesus' spiritual practices and how they are still relevant in today's world. The study will give you practical applications for your life.

Register for the free study at garychurch.org. The class runs through April 13.
