Clearbrook hosts 24th annual Jingle PAL fundraiser online this year

The 24th annual Partners in Adult Learning-Clearbrook fundraiser, "Jingle PAL'S Cyber Sunday Holiday Shopping Spectacular," was held online Sunday, Nov. 21.

Thanks to Bob and Marilyn Peterson, PAL parents, for chairing the event.

"This annual fundraiser is the key to supporting the PAL program for adults 18 and older with significant disabilities and physical challenges," Marilyn Peterson said.

Kevin Corcoran, who owns Lorelle Communications in Arlington Heights, offered his professional studio for the event.

With the help of professional auctioneer Greg Dillinger, it was a huge success.

Friends bid on 10 live auction items including assorted Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Bears items, tickets to the Sebastian Maniscalco stand-up comedy show, and more.

PAL Acts of Kindness, where the PAL program participants give back to the community, were donated to help support families in need, U.S. troops, baking for local fire and police departments.

PAL offers its participants year-round, full-day adult programming aimed at providing experiences, services and supports that promote lifelong learning and community membership.

The PAL-Clearbrook Program is very grateful to have dedicated supporters, friends and family.

Through their kindness and generosity, it can continue creating opportunities and opening doors for years to come.
