Christ Church Oak Brook, Butterfield reopens in-person worship Sept. 13

On Sunday, Sept. 13, Christ Church will resume in-person worship at both locations, with safety measures including required face masks, social distancing, temperature checks, and enhanced cleaning.

Services are scheduled for 9 a.m. classic worship and 10:45 a.m. contemporary worship at its Oak Brook campus at 501 Oak Brook Road, and 10:45 a.m. contemporary at its Butterfield campus at 2S361 Glen Park Road in Lombard.

To ensure a safe and comfortable environment, reservations are required for each service and can be done through the church's website at ChristChurch.us/welcomeback.

In midsummer, the church implemented a soft reopening plan, which included limited outdoor worship, to refine the worship experience and safety protocols prior to opening to its wider congregation.

To help congregants and visitors better prepare for in-person worship at Christ Church Oak Brook and Butterfield, the church has prepared an online guide accessible at ChristChurch.us/prepare. Procedures include preregistration, health screening questions, onsite check-in and marked paths.
