Hop into the pool at Underwater EGGstravaganza

Thousands of plastic eggs will float in Schaumburg Park District's indoor water park at its annual Underwater EGGstravaganza.

This event is set for 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 9, at The Water Works, 505 N. Springinsguth Road, in Schaumburg.

Scheduled egg hunts per age group will take place in the play pool throughout the evening. Event is for children ages 1-11. Parents will be able to assist their young children.

"After splashing around in the water collecting eggs, children will return the eggs and receive an awesome goody bag to take home," said Kathleen Benson, Bock Neighborhood Center manager.

"Children will also get to play games and meet the Bunny."

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Participants should wear a bathing suit and bring a basket or bucket for collecting eggs.

Cost is $12 per child for residents and $18 per child for nonresidents. Admission is free for adults. All participants must be registered prior to April 9.
