"Adventure is out there," step out with your daughter to find it at Schaumburg Park District's Dad & Daughter Pixar Dance, presented by Schaumburg Bank & Trust Company, N.A., a Wintrust Community Bank.

Open to ages 4 and older, the dance is set for 5-7 p.m., Feb. 15 at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road. The evening will include dinner, dancing, games and more.

"As far as costume choices, the world of Pixar has so many memorable characters to choose from," said Kathleen Benson, Bock Neighborhood Center manager. "Fathers and daughters with the best Pixar-inspired costumes will take home a prize!"

Participants are encouraged to dress in their best party attire or as their favorite Pixar-inspired costume. Each child will receive a parting gift to commemorate the evening.

Cost is $35 per duo for residents and $50 per duo for non-residents. The cost for each additional child is $17 for residents and $24 for non-residents. Pre-registration is required by Thursday, Feb. 13. Online registration is not available for this event. To register, visit Bock Neighborhood Center, Community Recreation Center or Meineke Recreation Center.
