Wheaton Toms Price store celebrates grand reopening Jan 4; neighboring businesses join celebration

"The transformation is complete," said Scott Price, president and owner of Toms Price, the Wheaton store that has been a fixture on Front Street in the suburb since 1955. "We have made a significant investment to make this showroom outstanding. Every square foot of the store has been changed and filled with beautiful, new furniture vignettes representing the latest in design, colors, fabrics and finishes. We invite the public to join us Saturday, Jan. 4, beginning at 10 a.m."

Stating that Toms Price has had a busy year in Wheaton is an understatement. After introducing The Rug Studio last summer; the store began selling its entire current inventory at a Renovation Sale that began on Labor Day. Last month, Toms Price introduced the company's first interior design center: T. Price Interiors, offering high-end inspirational design. This was all achieved conducting business during regular store hours while undergoing a complete store renovation.

Business neighbors of Toms Price will be present January 4 at the open house celebration. Ivy of Wheaton will be serving hot and cold small bites from noon until 4; Kilwins will be serving chocolate from 1 until 3 p.m.; and a ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m. with Wheaton Mayor Philip Suess.

Shoppers will be rewarded at all stores with 45% off storewide and 50% off any single piece through Jan. 26.
