Spirit of Life Chorus celebrates final season with three concerts

Join Spirit of Life Chorus for its final concerts titled "Lifting Up the Lord, Celebrating 30 Years of Spirit."

The praise concert will be a combination of music from different seasons over our 30 years of lifting up the Lord in song.

The ecumenical chorus features dedicated Christians from throughout the Chicago metropolitan area.

Spirit of Life Chorus has been blessed to continue this music ministry into its 30th and final year, bringing God's message of hope, peace and love to thousands of people.

The chorus began in 1989 with 17 singers, and they have had more than 430 singers, instrumentalists, sound engineers, properties, and sales team members who volunteered their time and talents in service and praise to the Lord.

A special thank you to director Marc Stiehr and founding director David Barth for their vision and talents.

The Spirit of Life Chorus will be performing at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, at Christ Church, 1492 Henry Ave. in Des Plaines.

On Sunday, Nov. 24, they will be returning to Elgin for a concert at 4:30 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 195 Nesler Road.

Their final concert will be held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 405 Rush St. in Roselle. For more information, visit www.spiritoflifechorus.org.
