Lavelle Law Partner CLE Courses Now Available

The National Academy of Continuing Legal Education recently added two courses taught by Lavelle Law partner Tim Hughes to its website (www.nacle.com). Hughes is highly focused on the Taxation and Bankruptcy practice groups at the 30-attorney law firm with offices in Schaumburg and Chicago.

The courses, TAX3800 - Insufficient Funds: Representing Clients on Tax Matters When the IRS Comes Knocking on Their Door, and TAX3900 - Are Taxes Dischargeable in Bankruptcy?, are now accessible to attorneys to use in meeting their annual continuing education requirements.

"Over the years Tim has been a great example for all of our attorneys with his commitment to hosting seminars, contributing to podcasts, writing articles and being a constant contributor to the knowledge base available not only to our clients, but to his peers as well," said Lavelle Law Managing Partner Ted McGinn.

Hughes authors a monthly newsletter on taxation, Tim's Tax News on the Tenth (http://goo.gl/pjeJkm) and is a regular contributor to Lavelle Law's weekly podcast series, Chicago's Legal Latte (https://bit.ly/2vmzTJC).

"I'm pleased to have the opportunity to present these courses for the legal community," said Hughes. "Taxation and bankruptcy are two very complex areas of the law and with more than two decades of experience in dealing with both practice groups at Lavelle Law, I feel I can make a meaningful contribution to the CLE community."
