Fox Valley Area Anglers to welcome 'Outdoor Girl' Cheryl Smith to Feb. 26 meeting

This year, the Fox Valley Area Anglers, a multi-species fishing club, will host 10 tournaments and 9 additional fishing outings from April through October.
The Fox Valley Area Anglers meetings are held at 7 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of the month at the Tap House Grill, 3341 W. Main St. in St. Charles. This month's meeting will be held on Feb. 26. Meeting speakers cover a variety of topics.
This month's meeting features Cheryl Smith, also known as the "Outdoor Girl." She is an avid fishing tournament enthusiast. She is also an outdoor writer, a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Master Captain, and has been featured on "Chauncey's Great Outdoors" radio talk show.
Smith will be giving a presentation about smallmouth bass fishing on the Fox River.
