Five seats open for April election for McHenry County College trustees

One two-year seat, one four-year seat, and three six-year seats are open for the McHenry County College board of trustees in the April 2, 2019 Consolidated Election.

Petition filing for candidates begins at 8 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10 and ends Monday, Dec. 17.

A lottery for all candidates who filed at 8 a.m. Dec. 10 will be held at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, in the Campus Public Safety Office, Room B176.

A lottery for all candidates who filed between 4 and 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, will be held at 10:20 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26 in the Campus Public Safety Office, Room B176.

Anyone wishing to file an objection regarding a candidate's filed petition may file said objection also in Room B176 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Dec. 18, 19, 20, 21 and 24. Objections must contain an original and two copies and must be filed no later than Dec. 24.

Those filing petition objections may use the entrance at Building B, located by the flagpoles at parking lots B and D.
