Refreshments and light hors d'oeuvres will be served, while raffle prizes will include a pair of Starkey premium digital hearing aids.

As one of the most technologically advanced hearing centers in the country, Hearing Health Center offers the largest selection of hearing devices that utilize the latest scientific advances in the industry. In addition, the center's staff takes pride in the life-long relationships they forge with all of their patients.

"While most people make annual visits to their family doctor, ophthalmologist and even dermatologist, we traditionally wait years, even decades, before visiting an audiologist," says Dr. Ronna Fisher Au. D., founder of Hearing Health Center. "The last time many of our patients admit to being tested was way back in grade school."

The center is also one of a handful across the nation that manufacturers use to beta-test their next generation devices, giving Hearing Health Center patients access to devices that haven't yet been released to the public.

Statistics show that about 20 percent of Americans-48 million people-report some degree of hearing loss. In addition, one out of every three persons age 65 and older has hearing loss.

"It's our mission to ensure that our neighbors in Naperville, Lisle, Woodridge and other nearby communities know that they can stop in to receive a complimentary hearing test to determine whether further action is needed, or to simply create a baseline for future tests," adds Fisher.

"As baby boomers age, we know an epidemic of hearing loss is coming," she says. "The race for manufacturers is to create ever more effective and easy-to-use hearing aids. Additionally, there is no best hearing aid and no one manufacturer or brand that is right for everyone. Instead, it's about what is right for you and we are here to help."
