Garfield Farm near Wasco has several rare animal breeds you won't see anywhere else. This curious pig got real close to my camera resulting in a comical close-up.

On March 15, 2019, we found this colorful Market Cart in the city plaza in Buenos Aires. The cobblestone street and green building highlights the bright yellows of the canvas top and fruit. It was meant to be a picture.

Walking into the Land of Oz. The shopping district (Shibuya-jingumae) in Tokyo, Japan on May 13th, 2019. This was taken during my first study abroad trip to Asia where everything seemed bright and magical just like when the Wizard of Oz movie changed from black and white to brilliant color.

I got a photo of this Egret, while checking this spot for Dragonflys at Nippersink Preserves, near Volo. I took several photos, and expected this Egret to take off, flying, but it stayed while I was taking it's picture.

This was taken after a storm on Lake Shishebogama in Northern Wisconsin. I loved the contrast and that the rainbow went into the lake.

The "Eyes " have it: The Eastern Screech Owl is the smallest resident owl in Illinois and can be viewed at the River Trail Nature Center in Northbrook. I was fascinated by how he squeezed into a small opening in a wooden perch and followed me with his head and those mesmerizing eyes reflected in this photo.

This shot was taken at Hagerman Lake in Iron River, Michigan right after a heavy rain. I liked the reflection on the water and the overall peacefulness of the scene.

We recently returned from a trip to Europe that included a stop in Rome, where we saw the Pantheon. My husband and I were awestruck by the overwhelming beauty of this ancient building!
