Brotherhood of Harmony to sing at Schaumburg Farmers Market Opening

The Brotherhood of Harmony chorus will be the featured musical entertainment on opening day of the Schaumburg Farmers Market (190 S. Roselle Road) on Friday, June 3 between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. The program includes old favorites to Broadway numbers to rock n' roll tunes to well-known melodies. Customers are invited to sing along with the chorus.

"These men sing a wide array of popular songs utilizing four-part harmony to produce the barbershop quartet sound," chorus Director Brian Cromer noted.

Come visit the Schaumburg's Farmers Market, that runs 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Friday, June 3 through October 28. The market features locally grown fruits and vegetables, seafood, meats, flowers, plants and gourmet cheeses sold by the farmers who produce them. You will even find decadent baked goods, olives, preserves, hot sauces, coffee, tea and knife sharpening services.

"We're excited for the return of community programming and entertainment acts to our Farmers Market, such as this barbershop chorus, that will sing for patrons on opening day," said Allison Albrecht, director of Communications & Outreach for the village of Schaumburg. "We welcome Schaumburg residents and those from the region to stop by and support local vendors while enjoying some great entertainment."
