Christ Church Oak Brook to host April 19 blood drive

Christ Church Oak Brook is holding its next blood drive on Monday, April 19 from 2:30 to 7 p.m. at 501 Oak Brook Road.

The blood drive is in partnership with Versiti Blood Center of Illinois. Versiti said that during the 2020 national quarantine due to COVID-19 more than 600 blood drives were cancelled, and scheduled donors numbers went way down. Versiti works with more than 70 hospitals in the Chicago region to keep donated blood within the area.

To donate to a blood drive at Christ Church Oak Brook and for additional information, including a safety FAQ, the public should register first online at ChristChurch.us/blooddrive to reserve a donor time.

Throughout the year, Christ Church offers a number of public service events, including a food pantry. For more information about Christ Church, visit ChristChurch.us. Weekend worship services are in-person, livestreamed and YouTube, on Sunday mornings for Contemporary and Classic services.
