Register for McHenry County Tennis Classic

The annual tradition that draws tennis players from all over McHenry County and neighboring communities is back. The McHenry County Tennis Classic will be held in July at Crystal Lake Park District's The Racket Club, 9109 S. Route 31, Algonquin.

The tournament is broken into three Friday-Sunday weekends: July 8-10 is Singles; July 15-17 is Doubles; and July 22-24 is Mixed Doubles. Everyone who enjoys tennis is invited to play, as each weekend features varying age and skill-based divisions for men, women and juniors.

The event draws about 300 players annually and spectators are welcome.

Registration for the tournament can be done either online at tennislink.usta.com; via mail, printable registration forms are available at theracketclub.org; or in person at The Racket Club.

Entry is $33 for singles or $26 for doubles; $5 discount comes with online registration.
